Who
is Katrina
Whatley?
First of all, along with being a real estate agent, I am a real person!
I want that to come across on this website. This website is my own
creation and not a cookie cutter
template you may have seen on other
sites.
I strive to be authentic in business. When we meet, you will see that I
am not a stereotypical Realtor. I don't have a Glamour Shot photo and
I don't wear a gold blazer. :)

Actually, I have a unique philosophy about being a
Realtor...in the initial stage of the process, I see my role as more of
a "matchmaker" than sales person. I never push individual
houses on anyone. I don't see the point. Either you have
chemistry with the house or you don't! I will keep introducing you to houses until you find
The One!
( i think that HGTV show stole this philosophy from
me!)
During your search we will
have fun touring homes. Looking at houses is the fun
part!
And I will teach you about
the process of buying a home.....in plain English.
The process can be
intimidating. But knowledge is power and I want my clients to
feel secure in every step we make.

I've lived in North Oak Cliff since 2003...first, in
a fab little Tudor in the
Elmwood neighborhood and now at
Lake Cliff Park where we are rehabbing a 1935 duplex. (if you
are looking to buy a fixer, I will have lots of personal experience to
share with you...along with solid contractor recommendations!)
I am working toward EcoBroker certification.
Green building and sustainable living is a fantastic "new" (yet
ancient!) issue in real estate.
My husband and I are both artists. He is a
sculptor and I
am a painter.

We have one little child. We also live with two large rescued dogs, Heidi and
France. I love to travel and have lived in 5 states and spent a
year abroad (England, Scotland and South Africa).
I office at home, so I am always "at work". I
am available at anytime of day. I am often
chatting with clients at 9 at night or 6 in the
morning....and working on contracts at 2a.m.
Enough about me,
send me an email or call and tell me about You!
